Nikita Teryoshin
Nothing Personal – The Back Office of War

Nikita Teryoshin went behind the curtain of the global arms trade to photograph the “back office” of war, which, ironically, is the complete opposite of the battlefield, a sort of oversized playground for adults, well-stocked with wine, canapés and beautiful shiny weapons. The dead bodies here are only mannequins or pixels on the screens of the many simulators.
These pictures were taken at 15 defense exhibitions, between 2016 and 2022, on various continents of the world.

Bio

Nikita Teryoshin (b. 1986, St. Pietroburgo, Russia) describes his genres as “street, documentary, and everyday horror.”
