Sorgente – Valdichiana On The Move
In 2025, the Unione dei Comuni della Valdichiana Senese was named Tuscan Capital of Culture, a recognition promoting a vision of widespread culture, rooted in the territory and shaped by the interchange between social issues, creativity, and local identity. Among the initiatives planned for this celebration is the photographic project Sorgente – Valdichiana On The Move, commissioned from the artist Laura Pannack. The photographic storytelling will be presented in a series of open-air installations at Lake Montepulciano and the MAEC Archaeological Park in Cortona. The images taken will also be displayed in the 10 participating municipalities: Cetona, Chianciano Terme, Chiusi, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Casciano dei Bagni, Sarteano, Sinalunga, Torrita di Siena, and Trequanda.

Laura Pannack (1985) is an artist specializing in portraiture and documentary photography. In her work, she seeks to establish an authentic connection with her subjects.
