In 2025, the Sosta Palmizi association celebrates two anniversaries with a photographic exhibition. Photographs by Davide Peterle—who died prematurely and who produced significant works for numerous theatre productions in the 1980s and 1990s—will be on display in the courtyard of Palazzo Casali. The images document the performance il Cortile, with which the historic company, composed of Michele Abbondanza, Francesca Bertolli, Roberto Castello, Roberto Cocconi, Raffaella Giordano, and Giorgio Rossi, made its debut in 1985, bursting onto the national and international scene and marking a watershed moment for Italian dance. Thanks to a project to digitise the archive, launched in 2025 to celebrate 30 years of activity at the Cortona headquarters, the selection includes some previously unpublished photographs.
