Giulia Mangione – Ivan Carozzi
Holy Week

A photographer and a writer set off on a trip to the Tuscan provinces over Easter. There’s no Tuscany or influencer winemakers. At Easter, they encounter a funny marble butt that captures Giulia’s lens. They sit in a monastery before an artist who gave her name to a Pink Floyd song. In Bibbiena, they meet the custodians of an Olivetti computer. They enjoy the sun in Levigliani, have lunch in Macchiascandona, and then pass by places they’d never heard of: Il Cristo, Nomadelfia, Piscialembita, Rigomagno. Seven days blessed by the April sun: a Holy Week.
