Conceived specifically for COTM, the Family Trilogy exhibition, co-curated with Marion Durand—Christopher Anderson’s partner—interprets the theme Come Together from a deeply personal and autobiographical perspective, in an attempt to reconcile the photographer’s point of view with that of his family. Working with the photographs from past projects, Durand has revisited and reshuffled the memories of their life together, constantly threatened by a formidable adversary: photography.
This exhibition is a meditation on Christopher Anderson’s famous book trilogy: SON is a reflection on fatherhood, PIA is a playful exploration of the father-camera-daughter triangle, and finally MARION is a love letter and the closing chapter.
