Luca Campigotto
When the night falls

Explored through the eyes of one of Italy’s most iconic landscape photographers, Luca Campigotto‘s Italy, exhibited along the open-air Via Crucis in Cortona, offers previously unseen views of even the most well-known locations.
On his journey from Northern to Southern Italy, the photographer encounters the country’s vast historical and artistic heritage, engaging with it, favoring evening light to create thoughtful, slow, and reflective photography.
Campigotto’s views are the result of a perfect balance between compositional tension and the power of light: the meticulous formal approach and post-production work make his visions timeless, to be deciphered in the details of the large-format prints.
