Florence, motionless and deserted, during lockdown. Squares and churches that seem straight out of an Art History book, where people were removed from the pictures so that the focus would not be diverted from the architecture. In the story of Delille, a ghostly shines in its renewed beauty where you seem to hear silence. The shots from above are reminiscent of the view from the window, to which we have become accustomed by the isolation of the home, and return even more the sense of stasis and suspended time.
Edoardo Delille (1974, Florence, Italy) lives between Milan and Florence. He is an accomplished Italian photographer and videographer who started his career in fashion and advertising. He then shifted to portrait and documentary photography.
