At Italo’s House
At Italo’s House is born from the experience of Fotoromanzo Italiano and presents a partial re-arrangement of the home of Italo Manzo, a collector, patron, and enthusiast of Italian popular culture. The exhibition features furniture, objects, and memorabilia spanning the 1970s to the present day, assembling a caustic and layered minestrone through which Fotoromanzo Italiano reconstructs and restores the aesthetics of “neoreality”. Through this new approach, the domestic space is transformed into a visual device that intertwines memory, fiction, and the collective imagination.
