Emanuele Amighetti & Federica Sasso
Battle Royale

The research of visual artist Federica Sasso is presented at Cortona On The Move in an immersive intervention curated by Emanuele Amighetti. The work presents a multidisciplinary reflection on adolescence, digital culture, and new media through the relationship between individuality and technology, self-representation, and digital avatars.
This environment allows viewers to experience firsthand the subtle boundary between reality and fiction through large-format photographs and digital projections inspired by gaming and internet culture. Identity, desire, and representation are no longer distinguishable, while the body takes center stage: seen not only as a physical presence, but above all as a projection surface, an interface, and a constantly evolving identity.
