Warlike Approaches to Tourism: All Inclusive is a project that questions the use or abuse of places that have become major tourist destinations. The art project is based on work with archive images and raises issues related to historical memory, which is needed to understand current events, the environment and different aspects of feminism.
The series allows us to approach the need to rethink history, as understood from a territorial perspective but also from a political, artistic and sociological one.
Bio
Marina Planas (b. 1983, Palma de Mallorca, Spain) focuses her work on the borders that separate art and life, reality and visual representation, fiction and memory.
