Adele Sarno

Huffington Post Italia

She is social media editor of Huffington Post Italia (edited by Lucia Annunziata), as well as being director of the newspaper’s Terza Colonna.

Her experience with HuffPost began in 2012 when the American journal first started publishing its Italian edition. She worked for several years with Repubblica.it and has also contributed to L’Espresso magazine. A journalist by profession and a passionate photographer, she studied reportage for 3 years at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia, winning the Tabò prize for a long-term project about Alzheimer’s disease.

She introduced a special Huffington Post section on photography which dedicates space to photographers where they can write about their work, as well as highlighting news on Italian and international exhibitions and cultural events. As an analytical observer of professional matters relating to the development of Facebook and Instagram, her work focuses on new forms of photographic expression in the social media. She is the ideal portfolio reviewer for those of you who not only want to see how an online journal selects images and works with the social media, but also if you want a valid assessment of your narrative abilities on the different social platforms.
